Web Database Application with PHP and MySQL, 2nd Edition
By David Lane, Hugh E. Williams
Publisher : O’Reilly
Pub Date : May 2004
ISBN : 0-596-00543-1
Pages : 816
Overview :
This new edition has been redesigned around the rich offerings of PEAR. Several of these, including the Template package and the
database-independent query API, are fully integrated into examples and thoroughly described in the text. In addition, through a
complex sample application–Hugh and Dave’s Wine Store–all the important techniques of dynamic content are introduced. Good
design is emphasized, such as dividing logic from presentation. The book introduces PHP 5 and MySQL 4.1 features, while
providing techniques that can be used on older versions of the software that are still in widespread use.

Title : Programming PHP
Pub Date : March 2002
Author : By Rasmus Lerdorf, Kevin Tatroe
Publisher: O’Reilly
ISBN : 1-56592-610-2
Overview :
Programming PHP is a comprehensive guide to PHP, a simple yet powerful language for creating dynamic web content. Filled with
the unique knowledge of the creator of PHP, Rasmus Lerdorf, this book is a detailed reference to the language and its
applications, including such topics as form processing, sessions, databases, XML, and graphics. Covers PHP 4, the latest version
of the language.
Now, more than ever, the Web is a major vehicle for corporate and personal communications. Web sites carry photo albums,
shopping carts, and product lists. Many of those web sites are driven by PHP, an open source scripting language primarily
designed for generating HTML content.
Since its inception in 1994, PHP has swept over the Web. The millions of web sites powered by PHP are testament to its
popularity and ease of use. It lies in the sweet spot between Perl/CGI, Active Server Pages (ASP), and HTML. Everyday people can
learn PHP and can build powerful dynamic web sites with it.

Title : ASP.NET in a Nutshell, 2nd Edition
Pub Date : August 2003
Author : By G. Andrew Duthie, Matthew MacDonald
Publisher: O’Reilly
ISBN : ISBN 0-596-00520-2
Overview :
Newly updated for Visual Studio .NET 2003, the second edition of this book includes fresh information on application and web
service development, custom controls, data access, security, deployment, and error handling, new material on web application
development for mobile devices, plus an overview of the class libraries.
ASP.NET is the web development technology of Microsoft’s .NET development platform. While it has a lot in common with its
predecessor, Active Server Pages, ASP.NET is a quantum leap over classic ASP; it adds such new features as rich server controls,
a much more powerful programming model, and built-in support for XML web services.
ASP.NET also allows you to access the full richness of the .NET Framework Class Library, which provides classes for everything
from sending mail via SMTP to performing multithreaded operations. ASP.NET also brings object-oriented programming to the Web.
Object orientation is at the very heart of the .NET Framework, and ASP.NET takes full advantage of it—particularly in the area
of its robust server control model.

Title : HOW TO BUILD MUSCLE WITHOUT WEIGHTS
Overview :
Hey Paul why would anyone want to workout without weights? Everyone knows that using weights and machines is the fastest most
efficient way to gain size and strength. While this is true, there are many reasons why someone would want to, or even be
forced to train for a while without the benefit of using weights. Someone working long hours trying to support his family may
not have the time to get to a commercial gym, and may not have the extra space or money to set up a good home gym. Also, someone
who has to travel quite often for business might prefer getting a good workout in his or her hotel room rather then wandering
the streets of South America asking “Donde esta el gymo?”.
Let’s face it there are times (vacations, etc.) when all of us can’t easily get to a gym. There are also many trainees
(beginners or athletes training for boxing, baseball or some other sport) who aren’t trying to get a lot of muscular bulk but
want the type of strength, endurance and definition that calisthenic exercise offers. These exercises can also be preformed
anytime, anywhere and you can do them over your entire life to keep fit.

Title : Web Application Design Handbook : Best Practices for Web-Based Software
Pub Date : 2004
Author : Susan Fowler, Victor Stanwick
Publisher: Morgan Kauffman Publisher
ISBN : ISBN 1-55860-752-8
Overview :
The standards for usability and interaction design for Web sites and software are well known. While not everyone uses those
standards, or uses them correctly, there is a large body of knowledge, best practice, and proven results in those fields, and a
good education system for teaching professionals “how to.” For the newer field of Web application design, however, designers are
forced to reuse the old rules on a new platform. This book provides a roadmap that will allow readers to put complete working
applications on the Web, display the results of a process that is running elsewhere, and update a database on a remote server
using an Internet rather than a network connection.
Web Application Design Handbook describes the essential widgets and development tools that will the lead to the right design
solutions for your Web application. Written by designers who have made significant contributions to Web-based application
design, it delivers a thorough treatment of the subject for many different kinds of applications, and provides quick reference
for designers looking for some fast design solutions and opportunities to enhance the Web application experience. This book adds
flavor to the standard Web design genre by juxtaposing Web design with programming for the Web and covers design solutions and
concepts, such as intelligent generalization, to help software teams successfully switch from one interface to another.

Title : Miraculous Mixture: Mother’s Milk
Author : Harun Yahya
Overview :
And We have enjoined upon man goodness towards his parents: His mother bore him by bearing strain upon strain, and his weaning
was in two years: “[Hence, O man,] be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the eventual coming.” (Qur’an, 31:14)
Mother’s milk is a matchless compound created by Allah to meet the baby’s nutritional needs and protect it against possible
infections. The balance of the nutriments in mother’s milk is at ideal levels and the milk is in the ideal form for the baby’s
immature body. At the same time, the mother’s milk is also very rich in nutrients which accelerate the growth of brain cells and
the development of the nervous system. 1 Artificial baby foods prepared with present-day technology cannot replace this
miraculous food.
